I’ve had ear problems and surgery on my ears in the past, is microsuction appropriate for me?

Yes, Absolutely. The most common form of wax removal is Irrigation (syringing) which involves washing the wax out of the ear with water with a fair amount of pressure. For people with perforations (holes in eardrums) or previous surgery this form of wax removal is not suitable as it can lead to infections or burst the ear drum. Micro suction on the other hand does not involve water, rather a gentle suction device; we are also able to see what we are doing at all times which makes this procedure much safer.
